Pereum OCR processes uploaded images and PDF files only to complete the OCR request and deletes source files from storage after processing.
Uploaded Files
Uploaded images and PDFs are used only for text recognition. After the recognition worker finishes processing a file, the source object is deleted from storage. File size and format limits are shown before upload.
Recognition Results
The extracted text is returned to the page. For signed-in users, recognition history can store text results so they can be reviewed later from the account history page.
Account and Usage Data
Account data, limits, request metadata, and visit analytics may be used to provide authentication, prevent abuse, enforce upload limits, and improve the service.
